Continuing education is very important to us at Active Life Physical Therapy. Dr. Timothy Mansour is the most recent provider to have tucked a new certification under his belt.
We are proud to announce that Dr. Timothy Mansour has earned MDT Certification from The McKenzie Institute® USA Center for Postgraduate Study in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT).
To gain this certification, physical therapists must complete a series of advanced postgraduate courses and pass the credentialing exam to become a certified practitioner of MDT.
The McKenzie Method of MDT is an evidence-based, reliable assessment process intended for all musculoskeletal problems, including pain in the back, neck and extremities (i.e., shoulder, knee, ankle etc.), as well as issues associated with sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, muscle spasms and intermittent numbness in hands or feet.
